Potential Indiana Pacers Free Agent Targets

Lance Stephenson (Indiana Pacers): Larry Bird made it pretty clear he would like to keep Stephenson by stating, “I will call his agent Tuesday morning and go from there and see what happens. I know Lance wants to be here, he needs to be paid and we’re going to do what we can do to keep him.”

Outside of Stephenson, the Pacers will have to be creative in free agency. “This is one year we’re tight on money,” Bird explained. The money issue may also be the reason behind Bird wanting to keep the core of this team together. He went on to explain, “You can speculate all you want but I’m pretty set with our core group and I’m going to give them another shot.” Well, Larry….I’m going to speculate.
