The Indianapolis Colts came into today’s game against the Jacksonville Jaguars with a determination to pick up their first win of the season. They had a heartbreaking loss last week against the Philadelphia Eagles, and took their frustration out on the Jaguars in the first half. Andrew Luck and company are leading the Jaguars by a score of 30-0 at halftime.

Luck has led the way for the Colts with a big game so far, throwing for 240 yards and three touchdowns. Pep Hamilton has been much better with his offensive play calling so far today, and that has given Luck the ability to make the plays that he has made. Both Trent Richardson and Ahmad Bradshaw are having good games once again this afternoon. Bradshaw has picked up 37 yards on seven carries, while Richardson has five carries for 35 yards. T.Y. Hilton is having a big game receiving with five catches for 80 yards, and Dwayne Allen has three catches for 31 yards and a touchdown. Coby Fleener is also putting together a nice game with four catches for 49 yards and a touchdown.

Chad Henne has been unable to do anything for the Jaguars’ offense, throwing for just 33 yards. The fans have been letting him know that they want him replaced by rookie Blake Bortles. Toby Gerhart is the leading rusher for Jacksonville, but has only picked up 24 yards on four carries. Needless to say, there isn’t much to talk about positively about the Jaguars.

This is a much needed performance from the Colts, and they are finally playing up to their full potential on the offensive side of the football. They have three sacks defensively which is a major improvement as well, and have been able to shut down Jacksonville. It will be interesting to see if this type of dominance will continue in the second half.

Hopefully the Colts can close this one out early in the second half, and can make sure that no crazy comeback happens for the second game in a row. They are by far the better team this afternoon, and nothing the Jaguars have done have phased them. It’s great to see the Colts playing good football once again, and they are well on their way to their first win of the season.
