The Indianapolis Colts were able to knock off the Cleveland Browns on the road by a final score of 25-24.

46. Final. 24. 53. 25

Cleveland, OH – The Indianapolis Colts improved to 9-4 on the season with a big 25-24 come from behind victory over the Cleveland Browns. It was a hard fought game all the way through by both teams, but the Colts were able to make the winning plays down the stretch to win the football game.

Andrew Luck and the Colts’ offense were never able to get things going consistently like they are used to, but they came through in the end of the game when they needed to. Defensively, the Colts did a solid job of putting pressure on Brian Hoyer, and they were able to intercept two passes off of him as well. They didn’t play nearly as good as they are capable of, but a win is a win no matter what it looks like.

Luck ended up throwing for 294 yards, two touchdowns, and two interceptions, but he also lost a fumble that was recovered for a touchdown early in the game. Hoyer on the other hand threw for 140 yards, no touchdowns, while also throwing two interceptions.

It’s likely that Johnny Manziel will be talked about even more this week than he was last, and it wouldn’t be surprising at all to see him take over as the starter in Cleveland.

Indianapolis was led in rushing by Luck, who ran for 37 yards and a touchdown on five attempts. Trent Richardson also picked up 30 yards on seven carries, while Dan Herron ran for 26 yards on eight carries. Terrance West and Isaiah Crowell both ran for 54 yards, with 15 and 14 attempts respectively.

T.Y. Hilton once again came through in the clutch for the Colts with a huge performance, catching 10 passes for 150 yards and two touchdowns. He has been outstanding all season long, and has found ways to come through in big games when his team has needed him. Coby Fleener caught five passes for 56 yards, while Herron caught four for 45 and rookie Donte Moncrief caught three passes for 33 yards.

Jordan Cameron was the leading receiver on the afternoon for the Browns with four catches for 41 yards.

Needless to say, this was a nice win for the Colts despite the ugly and dramatic fashion that it came in. Winning on the road against a good football team is tough, but the Colts got the job done this afternoon. The Colts will now look ahead to their game next weekend against the Houston Texans back home at Lucas Oil Stadium.
