After missing a little over eight months of action due to a leg injury, Indiana Pacer’s star Paul George made his return to the hardwood Sunday night Against the Miami Heat in a moment that would give any Pacers fan chills.

George received an ovation from the Bankers Life Fieldhouse Crowd when he checked into the game midway through the first quarter, courtesy of the Indiana Pacer’s official twitter account.

For the Pacers and their fans, it’s extremely refreshing to see George in a Pacers uniform after what was looking to be a season-long absence.

Even though he is expected to play a minimal amount of minutes now through the end of the season, Paul George may be the final push that the Pacers could use as they try to fight for the playoffs as the regular season wraps up within the next two weeks.

A Win over Miami tonight would push the Pacers to a 34-43 record while sitting one game behind the Boston Celtics for the eighth seed in the Eastern Conference.

All things aside however, it is a great feeling to have Paul George back into the rotation for the blue and gold.
