Sunday, the Indianapolis Colts will start the NFL preseason with a matchup against the Green Bay Packers in the Hall of Fame game. Although the Colts will not play their starters long, they still have some rookies to people should watch throughout the game.

A lot of people hate the NFL Preseason because they hate the thought of losing players to injury in meaningless exhibition games. However, others like the preseason because it is the only way people can see the talent of every team’s full roster.

The Colts have a delicate dance to deal with this offseason because they have five preseason games. Every preseason, two teams play five games while the other 30 teams play four. Both teams with the extra game play against one another in the NFL Hall of Fame game.

The Colts will play their starters at the start of the game, but the starters should not be in for long. The Colts will probably use this game to take a close look at their rookies (drafted and undrafted).

Sunday will be the first opportunity for the Colts to see their rookies in live-game action. These evaluations will play a big role when the Colts have to cut their 90-man roster down to 53 players.

The Colts have plenty of intriguing rookies to look at throughout the game. Here are five Indianapolis Colts rookies people should watch.
