The Wizards have lost four of their past six games, dropping to 14-17 this season. They have a mini-road trip where they’ll face Charlotte and New Orleans before heading to Indiana. Washington is currently fifth in the Eastern Conference, but seems to be in freefall over the past couple weeks.
The last time these two teams met, the Pacers won by 20 points at Bankers Life Fieldhouse. Stephenson nearly had a triple double, George had 23 points and four steals, and the Wizards shot 39-percent from the field.
The Wizards are getting the bulk of their production from just two players: John Wall and Marcin Gortat. Wall leads the team in scoring, assists, and steals while Gortat leads in rebounding and blocks. The team has a tendency to get blown out in losses, and eek by with close wins.
Aside from the Pacers getting Granger into the rotation, nothing much has changed since the last meeting in November. Expect the Pacers to come away with another lopsided win at home.
