4. Can the Patriots continue to “just get it done?” They have had so many close games, and a number of fortuitous plays break their way this season. Do they have enough luck left to win a couple more big games?

The answer is no. The Colts are in the playoffs for a reason. New England can’t expect to be lucky and walk away a winner in a playoff game. They need to go out and outright win the game with sheer will and determination.

If New England advances past the Colts it will not be because of luck. It will be because Bill Belichick has his team well prepared, ready and motivated to get it done. He better than anyone understands that in order to be lucky you must be great. The Patriots will look to strive for perfection in executing their game plan.
