New York Knicks at Indiana

Jan. 16th 7:00PM TV – TNT

Oh what should have been with the Knicks. This team was supposed to be a contender in the East, but sit at 14-22 before they face Phoenix and Charlotte. These two teams haven’t played since November, when the Pacers were forced into overtime at home. Indiana won that game, 103-96. That loss was in the middle of a nine game losing streak for the Knicks.

The Knicks are currently on a four game winning streak, which includes a 10-point win over the Heat. This team has struggled all season for a number of reasons. Carmelo Anthony takes nearly 21 shots per game, far too many. JR Smith is a punk who would rather do things like untie a players shoes than play hard. Tyson Chandler has only appeared in 13 games this season (5-8 in those games). And they are struggling on offense overall (28th in the league).

This is another game the Pacers should win. Fans always pack the house when the Knicks come to town and this should be a game where the Pacers dominate the second half and pull away in the third. Despite the win streak, the Knicks are simply not that good.

Pacers come away with another win.
