Kris Humphries (Celtics), Jordan Hill (Lakers), Glen Davis (Clippers) & Andray Blatche (Nets): This is the final year of Luis Scola’s partially guaranteed contract. I say ‘partially’ because the Pacers would only be on the hook for about $940,000 of Scola’s $4.9M contract. If the Pacers were to cut Scola, they could turn to fan favorite Chris Copeland to backup David West as a stretch Power Forward.

If they decide on a traditional Power Forward, they may look to one of these guys. Glen “Big Baby” Davis would probably come cheapest out of this group, and would bring energy/toughness to the Pacers bench. Humphries, Hill and Blatche all had decent years but may be out of the Pacers price range once free agency opens July 1st. An under the radar Power Forward, not mentioned above, is Ivan Johnson.

Johnson spent 2013 in China, averaging 25 points &10 rebounds per game. The Pacers had interest in Johnson last year, but higher money in China proved to be the key difference. Johnson played 69 games for the Atlanta Hawks in the 2012-13 season, averaging 6.5 points and four rebounds.
