1. T.Y. Hilton Ranks in the Top 5 in Yards for NFL Receivers

They don’t call it bold for nothing. Hilton is a great receiver, and has grown in his downfield ability for the Colts in his two years in the league. But in a crowded receiving core, can Hilton emerge as the go-to target every time?

Absolutely.

With Reggie Wayne hobbled, it’s probable that Hilton will fully take over the No. 1 receiving spot this year, and his stats will correspond. Hilton has shown incredible ability to make plays in the deep passing game that Andrew Luck excels at so much. And with the offensive philosophy changing to include more deep plays, Hilton may have one heck of a year.

Last year’s Top 5 List was as follows:

Josh Gordon (1646)
Antonio Brown (1498)
Calvin Johnson (1489)
Demaryius Thomas (1430)
A.J. Green (1426)

Illustrious company for third-year past catcher who’s been in the shadow of a Hall of Fame receiver across the field. But Wayne isn’t going to perform as well as years past, and this could be a career year for Hilton.
