Allen is an intriguing fantasy football prospect, and will end up surprising quite a few people when everything is said and done. He missed nearly all of last season due to injury, and was sorely missed by the Colts’ offense with the struggles that Coby Fleener went through. Luck has always liked Allen, and will look to him quite often as he is a major mismatch for opposing defenses.

In 2012 as a rookie, Allen ended up playing in all 16 regular season games. He showed his true potential by catching 45 passes for a total of 521 yards and three touchdowns, and is more than capable of taking those numbers to a much higher level this year. Allen has been working hard this past offseason and is out to prove that he belongs in the league as a starting tight end.

Denver has improved their secondary, but they don’t have any linebackers who will be able to stick with Allen. Luck is going to be using his big target early and often throughout the game, and will especially look at him when the Colts are in the red zone. He may not lead the league in yardage or receptions, but he will have a chance to put up a couple touchdowns in the game.
