The Indianapolis Colts are coming off of a tough loss in Denver against the Broncos, and are excited to come home for a Monday Night Football game against the Philadelphia Eagles. There are plenty of things to keep an eye on as far as the Colts are considered for Fantasy Football in Week 2, and there are three players in particular that should have big games against the Eagles. It isn’t likely that either defense is going to be completely shutting down either offense, so expect to see offensive players put up good production.

1. Andrew Luck, Quarterback

Obviously Luck is going to be the big scorer for the Colts’ offense, and is going to pick apart the Eagles’ secondary. They aren’t one of the better defensive teams in the league, and don’t have nearly the type of weapons that the Broncos put on the field. Philadelphia is going to have a very difficult time matching up with the Colts’ wide receivers, and Luck should be able to put up great fantasy numbers.

2. Dwayne Allen, Tight End

One of the bright spots for the Colts against the Broncos on Sunday night was tight end Dwayne Allen, who came through with a big touchdown late in the game. He ended up catching four passes for 64 yards and a touchdown, and showed the talent that the Colts knew that he had when they drafted him. Allen missed all of last season with injury, and Coby Fleener showed exactly why the Colts would rather have Allen on the field. He’ll be a nightmare for the Eagles’ defense, and should come through with a nice game and at least one touchdown.

3. Reggie Wayne, Wide Receiver

There were some concerns coming into the season about Wayne’s health and whether or not he could return to form, but it didn’t take long for him to answer those questions. He looked great against Denver, catching nine passes for 98 yards and had great explosion and speed. Expect him to come through with another big game against the Eagles, and catch his first touchdown pass since tearing his ACL.

Other than those three, it might be smart to start T.Y. Hilton if you have him, as the Colts could get a few big plays off of Philadelphia’s defense. These three guys should be started if you have any of them, as they are poised to put up big numbers this week. Good luck to all of your teams!
