The Indianapolis Colts will be on the road today to face the Jacksonville Jaguars, and it should be a very hard-fought game. Andrew Luck and company are 0-2 and need to figure out a way to get their season back on track. Jacksonville on the other hand is looking to make a major statement to the NFL.

We were able to ask five questions about the Jaguars as the game closes in, and fellow Daniel Lago from our fellow FanSided website BlackandTeal.com was more than willing to answer them.

1. What is the QB situation in Jacksonville? Is it possible that Blake Bortles sees some time if Chad Henne struggles?

Head coach Gus Bradley left a little bit of wiggle room this week when he was asked about the quarterback situation, but it would have to be a perfect storm of circumstances for Blake Bortles to come in mid-game for Chad Henne. No one really knows exactly what the coaches are waiting for to put Bortles into the game, so it’s pretty tough to predict. Henne has not been good in the first two weeks, so another poor performance against Indianapolis could ramp up the pressure to play the rookie.

2. Who do you see being the Colts’ biggest match-up nightmare?

That’s another tough one, since the Jaguars haven’t really had any players dominate over the first two weeks. If Blake Bortles does come in at some point, the Jaguars do have a talented set of young receivers that can exploit a suspect Colts secondary. Allen Hurns and Allen Robinson have looked very good so far through 2 weeks, and the offense is finally getting back veteran Cecil Shorts.

3. Do you see the Jaguars getting Toby Gerhart going and establishing a legitimate ground attack?

The Jaguars made two changes along the offensive line this week at center and right tackle, but it remains to be seen if that will actually help their anemic run offense. Honestly, it couldn’t really be much worse, so I do expect some improvement and for Toby Gerhart to get into a little bit of a groove.

4. What do you think are the main keys for Jacksonville against the Colts’ offense?

The Jaguars have a nice set of cornerbacks in Dwayne Gratz and Alan Ball, but it doesn’t matter how good your cornerbacks are if you can’t rush the passer. Chris Clemons and company need to get pressure on the Colts offensive line and get to Andrew Luck if they want any chance in this game. The Jaguars gave Kirk Cousins all day to throw last week and he carved them up.

5. What is your final score prediction?

The Jaguars barely have a functional offense with Chad Henne at the moment, so it’s not too unreasonable to think the Colts will run away with this one. If the Colts get an early lead, it could get ugly.

Colts 28 – Jaguars 13

We certainly hope that Daniel’s final score prediction comes true.
