The Indianapolis Colts won their fourth game in a row tonight against the Houston Texans 33-28, despite the Texans making a huge comeback after going down 24-0 early on in the game. J.J. Watt put together a huge game, but Andrew Luck and T.Y. Hilton were able to make big plays themselves, and the Colts’ defense forced a Ryan Fitzpatrick fumble to win the game. Indianapolis now sits at 4-2, and their momentum continues to their next game against Cincinnati Bengals.

Many expected this game to end the way that it did, but not to see the Texans come back from such a large deficit. Allowing Houston to make that sort of comeback is a definite concern for the Colts moving forward, but they still found a way to get the job done. Chuck Pagano has plenty of work to do in practice this week, especially with the Bengals being one of the better teams in the AFC.

Luck led the way for the Colts tonight, completing 25 of his 44 passing attempts for 370 yards, three touchdowns, and one interception. His interception was a pass that was tipped at the line, so it wasn’t simply because it was a bad pass. Trent Richardson picked up 41 yards and a touchdown on 17 carries, while Ahmad Bradshaw gained 34 yards on 11 carries. T.Y. Hilton had a career game, catching nine passes for 223 yards and a touchdown, and both Coby Fleener and Bradshaw caught touchdowns as well.

Houston was led by Fitzpatrick who started the game a bit slow, but finished with 212 yards and a touchdown. Arian Foster came through with a big game as well, rushing for 109 yards and two touchdowns on 20 carries. Andre Johnson had another nice game against the Colts, catching seven catches for 99 yards and a touchdown.

It will be very intriguing to see what the Colts are able to do against the Bengals. They have been facing easier opponents over the last couple of weeks, but that won’t be the case against Cincinnati. That being said, the Colts have been playing great football lately and it was great to see them continue that to another win tonight.

Expect to see the Colts continue playing at a high level, and have a hard fought game against the Bengals on October 19th.
