2. Dan “Boom” Herron Has A Big Game

When Ahmad Bradshaw went down with a broken leg, the Indianapolis Colts’ rushing attack immediately took a major dip. Trent Richardson hasn’t shown the ability to be a starting running back this year, and Dan “Boom” Herron simply hadn’t seen much playing time. Despite the lack of experience, Herron came through with a nice game last week against the Jacksonville Jaguars and will start this week as well.

Herron brings an excellent combination of speed and strength, and has a good nose for yardage as well as good patience. The Colts are going to give him every opportunity to come up with yet another big performance, and he will come through. Indianapolis doesn’t need him to run for 100 or more yards, but they could use around 70.
