What grades do some of the key Indianapolis Colts get for their performances on the road against the Cleveland Browns?

The Indianapolis Colts were able to pull out a narrow 25-24 victory on the road against the Cleveland Browns yesterday afternoon, and improved to 9-4 on the season. It wasn’t a pretty win at all, but a win is a win in sports and can’t be discounted. All of that being said, there are game grades to be given to the key players throughout the game.

B. Andrew Luck struggled throughout the game, but was able to lead an impressive game winning drive to come away with the 25-24 victory. His two interceptions were poor throws, and there were plenty other bad plays by him as well. Despite his poor overall performance, Luck receives a “B” grade due to the win and coming through with some big plays late in the game.. QB. Indianapolis Colts. ANDREW LUCK

RB. Indianapolis Colts. TRENT RICHARDSON. B-. Once again, the Colts didn’t receive much of a ground game from either of their running backs. Richardson led the way among the running backs with 30 yards on a seven carries. Despite the low numbers, he can’t be dropped below a B- due to the fact that he didn’t get much usage. When he did get the football, he was able to make some plays.

T.Y. HILTON. A+. The Indianapolis Colts one again got a huge game from T.Y. Hilton when they desperately needed him. He came through with a monster 10 catches for 150 yards and two touchdowns in the win. Without him, the Colts likely wouldn’t have had a chance to pull off a win against Cleveland on the road.. WR. Indianapolis Colts

B+. Coby Fleener once again handled the tight end duties and had another very solid outing. He caught five passes for 56 yards and was a big target that acted like a security blanket for Andrew Luck. The offense has relied on him a lot with Dwayne Allen’s injury, and he has proved himself as a reliable target.. TE. Indianapolis Colts. COBY FLEENER

One of the best offseason acquisitions for any team was the Indianapolis Colts signing linebacker D’Qwell Jackson. He has fit into the Colts’ defense and has been a big reason for their success this season. Yesterday against the Browns he had a great performance, making nine tackles, including a tackle for a loss and a quarterback hit.. LB. Indianapolis Colts. D'QWELL JACKSON. A+

There are more players that could be listed in these rankings, but it is impossible to get too much of the roster. These were some of the biggest names to come out of the game against Cleveland. Some played better than others, but everyone was able to come together in the end to pull out a big win.
