Frank Vogel still believes in the Indiana Pacers despite a slow start and major injury issues.

One thing that the Indiana Pacers do have this season despite being ravaged by injury problems, is a coach that believes in their abilities. Frank Vogel has always been a believer in his players, and that hasn’t changed this season despite all of the drama surrounding the team. Whether it was losing Lance Stephenson in free agency, seeing Paul George go down with a broken leg, or seeing his entire roster struggling with injuries, Vogel’s attitude and mindset still have not changed.

Vogel talked to the media about his thoughts on the season thus far, and was very obvious about his feelings.

"“We’re down. We’re frustrated. We want to win. So when I say morale’s okay, I mean we still believe,” Vogel said. “We’re still getting after it with the approach that the next game could change our momentum.”“I like our effort. I don’t like our record.”"

Both Chris Copeland (Video) and Rodney Stuckey (Video)  seemed to echo the same sentiments as Vocal in videos on Pacers.com.

The Pacers have been putting forth a lot of effort each time they step on the floor and that has not gone unnoticed by the fans. They have embraced this years team despite not having the same type of success that they had last year.

Despite the poor record, the Pacers are still a talented enough team to turn things around if they can stay healthy. George Hill is still a few weeks away from returning, but the core of Roy Hibbert, David West, Stuckey, and the rest of the active roster can get the job done. It has become obvious just how much of an impact Paul George can make on a game this year.

Indiana will have their first chance to get back on the winning track tonight against the Los Angeles Clippers.
