The Indiana Pacers broke their eight-game losing streak with a 110-91 victory over the Los Angeles Lakers.

Indianapolis, IN – The Indiana Pacers came away with a dominant 110-91 victory over the Los Angeles Lakers to finally break out of their eight-game losing streak. They came out hot from the very beginning and never trailed throughout the entire game. Every single player contributed to the win, and they were able to frustrate Kobe Bryant all evening long.

It is never easy to shut down Bryant, but the Pacers did just about as good of a job as a team possibly can. He ended up shooting 8-26 from the field overall, and scored 21 points on the night. Bryant picked up a technical foul after getting frustrated by the strong defense that Solomon Hill was playing on him all night long, and ended up sitting the bench for the entire fourth quarter with the game out of reach.

Indiana was led in scoring by both C.J. Miles and Rodney Stuckey, who each scored 20 points on the evening. Stuckey had a stat-stuffing evening with 10 rebounds and seven assists as well, while Miles knocked down three from behind the arc. Both players have begun playing very well over the past week or two, and the Pacers need them to keep up that play.

Donald Sloan made an appearance on the double digit scoreboard once again with 17 points, most of them coming in an impressive fourth quarter. Both C.J. Watson and David West scored 12 points each, with West chipping in nine rebounds as well. Roy Hibbert was the final double figure scorer on the night with 10 points, while Lavoy Allen came off the bench to score six points and grab nine rebounds.

Obviously this was a huge win for the Pacers to break away from their major slump. They came out looking to win this game in a big way, and they accomplished that goal. Frank Vogel appears to have found the starting line that he has been needing for awhile, and they certainly looked good together.

Now, the Pacers will look ahead to their next game on the road against the Los Angeles Clippers on Wednesday night.
