Brooklyn, NJ – The Indiana Pacers were coming off of an embarrassing loss to the Detroit Pistons on Friday night, and took it out on the Brooklyn Nets with a 110-85 victory. They improved to 11-20 with the win, and they looked like a complete team for the first time in a long time. Everyone that played chipped in for the Pacers, and they were able to frustrate the Nets defensively.

Needless to say, this was a much needed win for a team that looked extremely defeated following their loss in Detroit. Brooklyn isn’t an amazing basketball team, but they were the eighth seed in the Eastern Conference coming into the game.

Rodney Stuckey led the way with a huge performance, scoring 20 points to go along with eight assists, six rebounds, and four steals. There were doubts about whether or not Stuckey would even play this evening due to a facial contusion, but he played one of the best complete games that he has played with the Pacers. David West also put up a nice performance, scoring 17 points, grabbing five boards, and dishing out five assists.

C.J. Watson also scored 17 points for the Pacers coming off of the bench, and recorded nine rebounds, five assists, and three steals. Luis Scola scored 13 points off the bench, while both Chris Copeland and George Hill scored 12 points each. Lavoy Allen was the other double digit scorer for Indiana with 10 points, while also grabbing seven rebounds.

Brooklyn was led by point guard Jarrett Jack, who scored 22 points on 10-15 shooting. He has taken over the starting point guard duties for Deron Williams, and has been making the most of the opportunity. Joe Johnson had a nice game for the Nets as well, scoring 18 points to go along with six rebounds and six assists.

Sergey Karasev was the only other double figure scorer for the Nets with 14 points on the evening.

Indiana will now look ahead to their next game on Monday night at home against the Chicago Bulls. It is a big game for the Pacers, and will show just how good they are against one of the best teams in the conference. The Bulls have been playing extremely well, and it will take a perfect performance from Indiana to come away with a win.
