Colts Finish Season At 11-5 With 27-10 Win
By Evan Massey

The Indianapolis Colts finished the regular season with an 11-5 record after defeating the Tennessee Titans 27-10.
27. 46. Final. 10. 35
Nashville, TN – The Indianapolis Colts came into this afternoon’s game looking to work on a few things with the playoffs right around the corner, and they were able to do just that in a 27-10 win over the Tennessee Titans.
It wasn’t the prettiest win ever, but a win is a win no matter what the situation. The Colts only played Andrew Luck for the first half, and backup quarterback Matt Hasselbeck came in and played a great game himself. Tennessee was never able to get anything going offensively, and the Colts will now look ahead to their first round playoff matchup.

Luck finished the game completing 10 of 16 passing attempts for 160 yards and two touchdowns. He took care of the football which is something that he hasn’t done well this season, and he looks ready to get back into the postseason. Hasselbeck on the other hand threw for 155 yards and a touchdown on the afternoon.
Charlie Whitehurst came up with a dud of a performance for the Titans, throwing for 72 yards and a touchdown.
Once again, the Colts failed to get anything going on the ground. That has been a major concern all season long, and they finished the game with just 67 yards total. Dan Herron finished the game as the leading rusher with 35 yards on 10 carries, while Zurlon Tipton and Trent Richardson finished with 21 and 11 yards respectively. Shonn Greene led all rushers with 94 yards on just 11 carries for the Titans.
Reggie Wayne had a nice game for the Colts through the air, catching just two passes for 91 yards. He injured himself on his long catch, and never returned to the game with what appeared to be a groin injury. Coby Fleener came through with five catches for 56 yards and two touchdowns on the afternoon.
Up next for the Colts will be the playoffs, and they seem to be ready for the most part. There are still major issues like the running game, but they have the talent to turn things on in the postseason and make a run.
