Indianapolis, IN – The Indiana Pacers were looking to get back on the winning track after falling on the road to the Philadelphia 76ers in their last game, but fell to the Minnesota Timberwolves by a final score of 110-101.

Mo Williams became the leading scorer by an opponent in Bankers Life Fieldhouse with 52 points on the night, and the Pacers simply didn’t have an answer for him late in the game. David West was ejected with under a minute left after picking up his second technical foul, and Roy Hibbert was ejected earlier in the game due to a hard foul on Gorgui Dieng.

C.J. Miles was the Pacers’ leading scorer on the evening, scoring 22 points on 8-of-18 shooting. He made just two of his ten three-point attempts, and has been in a major shooting slump over the past few games. C.J. Watson had a nice game for the Pacers as well, scoring 17 points on 7-9 shooting, and he also dished out five assists.

Rodney Stuckey came up with 13 points on the night, while David West came up with 12 points of his own. Luis Scola and Roy Hibbert were the other two double digit scorers on the night.

Williams obviously led the way for Minnesota with 52 points on 19-33 shooting, and took over for his team down the stretch. Rookie Andrew Wiggins also came up with a nice game, scoring 20 points to compliment Williams. Thaddeus Young and Gorgui Dieng were the other double figure scorers for Minnesota with 11 and 10 points respectively.

Indiana fell to 15-25 with the loss, and it was their second straight loss to one of the worse teams in the league. Minnesota snapped their 15-game losing streak with this win, and the Pacers have to be upset with their performance.

Next up for the Pacers will be a Friday night matchup at home against the much improved Detroit Pistons.
