Josh McNary, a Colts linebacker and former member of the Army, was charged with rape on Wednesday afternoon. He was originally signed by the Colts in April of 2013, and has flashed talent on multiple occasions. This is a very tough piece of news for the Colts, and it is definitely a major distraction for his teammates as they try to stay focused on the upcoming game.

It is hard to believe for most Colts fans that McNary could have done something like he has been accused of, but it is hard to tell with anyone in this day and age.
Throughout the 2014 season, McNary was able to rack up 28 tackles and 0.5 sacks. Obviously he isn’t a key piece to their defense, but he is a well liked player and a hard worker. He was a perfect piece for depth, and will be missed if he does indeed turn out to be guilty of committing this crime.
More information will come out as the story unfolds, so make sure to keep checking back at InkOnIndy.com for the updates.
