D’Qwell Jackson: Colts LB Arrested For Assault
By Evan Massey
It was tough to lose to the New England Patriots in the AFC Championship game, but the Indianapolis Colts are trying to make things even worse for fans. They have been getting into trouble off-the-field early and often this offseason, and the latest incident came last night from veteran linebacker D’Qwell Jackson.
Needless to say, it is a troubling story from the outside looking in. Who knows what other factors presented themselves in this situation, but the fact of the matter is that he is in the news for some reason.

Josh McNary is another linebacker that is in trouble off-the-field, and was charged with rape during the Colts’ playoff run.
Indianapolis has been a franchise known for being very quick and harsh dealing with off-the-field issues like this one. If Jackson did indeed punch a pizza driver for no reason over a parking spot, then the Colts would normally look to make swift action and get rid of the player. That being said, because Jackson was their best defensive player this past season outside of Vontae Davis, it is a much harder decision.
All of that being said, this is an ongoing situation that we are keeping an eye on. It is tough to see the Colts beginning to get into off-the-field trouble, but it is a part of the game. As more information becomes available about this situation, we will continue to update you.
