New Paul George Video Surfaces Showing Improvement
By Evan Massey
Paul George has been recovering from a broken leg that he suffered on August 1st while playing in a Team USA scrimmage game, and he has been slowly but surely taking steps towards getting back on the court. A new video surfaced this afternoon ahead of the Indiana Pacers vs. Detroit Pistons game at Bankers Life Fieldhouse, and George looked much better than he has in the past.
Not only was he able to take some contact on his way to the rim, he also landed on both legs rather than landing on the healthy leg. That is a notable improvement, and the star is still holding onto hope that he can return to the court at some point this season.
Larry Bird held a press conference yesterday that made it clear the Pacers will not hold George back if he is ready to get back on the court. His leg will need to be completely healed and he’ll need to be in game shape, but if he can get to that point he’ll be back on the court. George also tweeted out a tweet that seemed to hint he was going to return in March.
That being said, this is a good video for Pacers fans to see as the healing process continues to move quickly. It wouldn’t be surprising at all to see him back on the court before the end of the season at this rate.
Indiana isn’t ready to give up on their postseason hopes, and a return of their superstar would help them toward that goal in a big way.
