MVP – George Hill

I’m sure I’ll get blasted by many for not putting David West here, but if you’ve watched the Pacers in the last couple of weeks, you’ll know George Hill is the key.

The Pacers are 6-2 with George Hill as a starter this year, and just seem to play better basketball with him in the lineup. David West actually benefits most from Hill, as they’re very comfortable in the pick & roll together.

Hill is able to get teammates the ball in the right spots, play solid defense on opposing guards, and gives the Pacers that other offensive weapon that they lack without West at times.

If the “Hometown Hero” can stay healthy the rest of the way, expect the Pacers to make a strong push for one of the final playoffs spots the 2nd half of the season.
