Pacers Unable To Keep Streak Going Against Celtics
The Indiana Pacers were unable to extend their win-streak to a season-best eight games on Saturday night after falling short to the Boston Celtics by a score of 93-89.
George Hill led all scorers with 30 points but it just wasn’t enough to get the job done.

Boston started the 2nd quarter in the midst of a 17-4 run which would eventually wind up turning into a 32-20 lead for the Celtics.
From that point onward the Pacers would find themselves playing catch-up for the rest of the game.
They would later inch within two points with 5.8 seconds left to play at 91-89 after a 3-pointer from Rodney Stuckey but any hope of a come-back effort was gone after Boston’s Brandon Bass made two free throws to seal the win for the Celtics.
The win snapped Boston’s three-game losing streak in Indiana. They hadn’t won in Indiana prior to tonight since March 6th, 2013.
For Indiana, the loss puts them at 30-35 and currently one game in front of Charlotte for the 7th seed in the Eastern Conference.
With 17 games remaining on the Pacers‘ schedule, things will start to get very tight as they try and edge their way into the playoffs.
They will look to keep their playoff hopes alive with a win Monday night when the Toronto Raptors come to town.
