The Pacers suffered their fourth consecutive loss on Friday night, falling to the Cleveland Cavaliers 95-92.

After winning seven straight, the Pacers now find themselves having an untimely losing streak.  The loss keeps the Pacers on the outside of the playoff picture in the 9th spot.

The Pacers current losing streak comes shortly after injured star Paul George made remarks that he didn’t want to come back and ruin chemistry. Well don’t look now, as that chemistry is on a four game losing streak, and there are possible rumors of a Paul George return within the week according to ESPN’s Brian Windhorst.

The Pacers could use the boost and energy that a Paul George return would bring not only to the team, but to the entire NBA. This Pacers team with a healthy Paul George, is not a team anyone would want to see in the first round of the playoffs, including Lebron and the Cavs.

The Pacers have played the Cavaliers pretty well all year, aside from the first match in Cleveland. The Cavs victory Friday night tied the season’s series at two games a piece. The two teams won’t meet again unless it’s in the playoffs.

George Hill led the Pacers with 24 points, while Roy Hibbert chipped in with 20 points and 8 rebounds. Lebron James led all scorers with 29 points, also adding 7 rebounds and 5 assists.

The Pacers return home to Banker’s Life Fieldhouse Saturday night to face the Brooklyn Nets. Indiana hopes to have David West back, who only played 12 minutes due to illness. Fans may also be in for a surprise if Paul George decides to make his return.
