Pacers Take Care of Mavericks 104-99
The Indiana Pacers donned the Flo-Jo uniforms Sunday night when they hosted the Dallas Mavericks at Bankers Life Fieldhouse. While the Pacers have not played particularly well as of late, Indiana managed to pull out a 104-99 victory over Dirk Nowitzki’s Mavericks.
For the first time in eleven games, the Indiana Pacers did not trail after the game’s opening quarter (via Candace Buckner). The Pacers started off hot going 6 for 6 from downtown in the first quarter. Dallas cooled off Indiana’s hot start with a 34-point second quarter to take a 61-55 lead into halftime. From that point, Indiana was able to win the second half 49-38 and sent the Mavericks back to Dallas with a loss.
The Pacers were led in scoring by C.J. Miles who posted 28 points on 9 of 12 from the floor including 5 of 6 from behind the 3-point arc. Roy Hibbert and George Hill each finished with 14 points, while David West and Rodney Stuckey tallied 10 points apiece.

After the victory, Indiana currently sits in the Eastern Conference’s 10th seed. The Pacers are tied with Boston Celtics (who currently own IND/BOS the tiebreaker) and are a half-game behind the 8th-seeded Miami Heat.
Next up, the Pacers head to Brooklyn when they’ll look to knock off the Nets on Tuesday night and try to creep their way back into playoff position.
