To our beloved readers:

Please allow me to introduce myself. My name is Dave McKee. I am the new editor of Ink on Indy. I am proud to announce that Ink on Indy is back and it could not happen at a better time.

2015-2016 will be an exciting time for sports across the state of Indiana and even more exciting for their fans worldwide.

Expectations are very high for the Indianapolis Colts. With Andrew Luck at the helm, they are considered by many as Super Bowl favorites and look to topple the New England Patriots on their quest to bring home the Vince Lombardi trophy.

With Paul George healthy for next season, the Indiana Pacers are gearing up for a transition to small ball, completely overhauling their style of play. If successful, they could be in position for a potentially deep playoff run in the Eastern Conference, if not challenge for the NBA title outright.

There is much to be thrilled about on the recent successes and rising stocks of the four universities – Butler, Indiana, Notre Dame and Purdue – featured here at Ink on Indy. With Autumn just around the corner, the water cooler talk is beginning in anticipation of the 2015 college football and 2016 college basketball seasons.

Lets not forget the event that put Indianapolis on the map which in May of 2016 will be the 100th running of the Greatest Spectacle in Racing, the Indianapolis 500.

We here at Ink on Indy are proud to once again bring all of this coverage to you our loyal readers. Our goal is to deliver all the in-depth game analysis, rumors, editorials and news you want and we are working diligently to make sure that we do.

Last but not least, we look forward to all the future interactions and discussions with you fans who live across the Hoosier state and beyond.

Thank you.
