Dennis Schroder

Dennis Schroder?! Just hear me out. To me, Schroder reminds me of a point guard the Pacers have been linked to for years now… Rajon Rondo. Though Rondo is a free agent, Schroeder would come at a much cheaper price with half the ego.

The Hawks have Jeff Teague locked up as their starter, and could use the Pacers 11th pick, as well as their own pick at 15 (thanks to being able to swap with the Nets) to fill potential gaps that could be left by Paul Millsap and Demarre Carroll (both free agents).

Schroder is only 21 years old and could have a chance to breakout if the Pacers do go uptempo, and start him alongside George Hill in the back-court, moving the hometown hero to shooting guard.
