Apr 4, 2015; Indianapolis, IN, USA; Kentucky Wildcats forward Karl-Anthony Towns (12) dunks during the second half of the 2015 NCAA Men

1. Minnesota Timberwolves

1

Karl-Anthony Towns

Power Forward, Kentucky

Minnesota Timberwolves
Becoming more clear that Towns will be the #1 overall pick. Towns, Rubio and Wiggins make a nice core moving forward.

2. Los Angeles Lakers

2

Jahlil Okafor

Center, Duke

Los Angeles Lakers
Lakers could go with Russell here, but I don’t see them passing on the big man. I think Russell has more star power, but Okafor and a healthy Randle could make a nice young frontcourt for years to come.

3. Philadelphia 76ers

3

Kristaps Porzingis

Power Forward, Latvia

Philadelphia 76ers
Leave it up to the 76ers to throw another cog in the NBA Draft by taking another big man (see Nerlens Noel and Joel Embiid). D’Angelo Russell had been the pick for most the offseason, and the Sixers could come to their senses, but I’m guessing they’ll go high risk yet again.

4. New York Knicks

4

D'Angelo Russell

Shooting Guard, Ohio State

New York Knicks
Knicks fans rejoice! Finally some good fortune in the draft again. The sound you hear is head coach Derek Fisher crying tears of joy, until Melo continues putting up 30 shots a game…then it’s just tears again.

5. Orlando Magic

5

Mario Hezonja

Shooting Guard, Croatia

Orlando Magic
You never know what the Magic are going to do. I think they’d be smart to trade down , acquiring more assets. They have young talent in Payton, Oladipo and Vucci Mane (Nikola Vucevic). The team really struggled defensively last year, so I like Stanley Johnson here, but I think they go euro with Hezonja.
