6. Sacramento Kings |
6 Emmanuel MudiayPoint Guard, ChinaDarren Collison is the starting point guard for the Kings right now. |
7. Denver Nuggets |
7 Justise WinslowSmall Forward, DukeNuggets aren’t very good, and rumor has it their two best players are unhappy in Denver (Lawson and Faried). Denver took Gary Harris last year and he pretty much sat the pine under Brian Shaw. He may get his chance with new head coach Mike Malone, but Winslow is too good to pass up on here. |
8. Detroit Pistons |
8 Frank KaminskyCenter, WisconsinHead Coach Stan Van Gundy says recently acquired Ersan Ilyasova will be the team’s starter at power forward, but that could just be a short term plan. The Pistons can use a shooter, and Kaminsky’s teammade Sam Dekker is an option, but I think SVG goes with a stretch 4 ala Ryan Anderson and Rashard Lewis. Frank the Tank can open things up for Drummond down low. |
9. Charlotte Hornets |
9 Devin BookerShooting Guard, KentuckyI think Booker is a reach here, but the Hornets need shooting badly, and Kentucky guard fits the build. |
10. Miami Heat |
10 Myles TurnerCenter, TexasThis pick depends on Dwyane Wade. If Miami thinks he’s gone, they’ll pick Stanley Johnson. Ultimately I feel Wade will be back, and the Heat could use depth up front. Bosh is returning from a medical scare, and I think the verdict is still out on Hassan Whiteside. |
