Two Stars Celebrate Their June Weddings
Smell that? It’s June. Summer is in full bloom and love is in the air all around Indiana. The history of the June wedding dates back to the days of the ancient Romans. According to Couples therapist Dr. Daniela Roher:
"The history of weddings celebrated during the month of June goes all the way back to early Roman times, well over two thousand years ago! The Romans celebrated a festival in honor of the deity Juno, wife of Jupiter and goddess of marriage and childbirth, on June first."
In a time when little goes on in the sporting world. A snippet of the calendar when in most cases no news is good news when it comes to athletes. It is always nice when there is news AND its good news. There is no better relief from the doldrums of summer and lack of sports news than the weddings of local athletes and celebrities.
Former IHSAA Mr. Baskketball and Indiana Hoosier point guard, Jordan Hulls tied the knot over the on June 28th, to fellow IU alum, Aubrey Wathen, Hulls has been playing professional basketball in Europe but came back home for a cream and crimson Hoosier wedding.
