The Financial Breakdown and the Remaining Cap Space
According to Hoopshype.com, Damjan Rudez was scheduled to make $1.15 and $1.2 million respectively over the next two seasons. Adding Budinger, whose contract is for one year and $5 million may seem odd with what little cap space remained before the trade. However, Budinger’s cap number comes off the books for 2016 should he not pan out for Indiana this season.
Tim Donahue – Co-Editor and Lead Writer for our Fansided’s 8points9seconds – tweeted about the potential salary breakdown for 2015-16. Details are following the trade and include the rumored $5 million salary for recently signed free agent Jordan Hill. Donahue also covered what little – if any – cap space remains:
I haven't seen a firm Jordan Hill number, but heard 2 years, $10mm. If true, Pacers have as much as $3.7mm room left pic.twitter.com/y1GjUM7j4O

The Pacers also may have used up all of their room under the cap, but would still have $2.8mm Room Exception & Minimums to add players.
