Following Colts Camp, who is the player to watch in preseason?

Scott Stewart (@scostew):

T.Y. Hilton – the buzz around the popular receiver this training camp has mainly been about his contract and whether or not he would get the kind of money that he wanted (which he did). Now that he has that new contract, I’m interested to see if the money places a little more weight on Indy’s top guy.

Andrew Turpen (@ATplace2be):

Greg Toler. It will certainly be interesting to see how offenses attack the Indianapolis secondary this year. With teams likely shying away from throwing in the direction of Vontae Davis, it will be up to Greg Toler to step his game up. Keep an eye out during Toler’s preseason appearances.

Pierre Wilson (@pwee31):

Duron Carter. Many didn’t know what to expect from the CFL standout (and son of hall of famer Cris Carter), but he’s holding his own and making plays everyday when on the field.

Dave McKee (@thedavemckee):

Judging from Colts Camp, Duron Carter is one wide receiver among a handful of candidates to keep an eye on in the preseason. As quarterback Matt Hasselbeck said, Duron Carter makes play after play “at the moment of truth.” He poses a severe threat in the redzone with his size and athletic ability. Carter  was named the “Most Intriguing Rookie in Football” by Grantland. All based from his performance at Colts Camp. One of best signs for a rookie is when he receives praise from the head coach. Following a 4 touchdown day for Carter, Pagano lauded his performance joking that Carter was “plucking balls off DB’s heads like they were peanuts.” To be fair, he has yet to play a single NFL game and it is time to see how he performs when the bullets are flying.
