What player made the biggest splash in Colts Camp?

Scott Stewart (@scostew):

Phillip Dorsett – he’s settled in quite well with the new offense and his speed continues to impress everyone who lays eyes on him. Alongside Duron Carter, the competition for Indy’s back up receivers is hot and if he gets some reps in preseason and impresses still, he’s in good shape come September 13.

Andrew Turpen (@ATplace2be):

Duron Carter. Newly acquired vets Frank Gore and Andre Johnson had impressive training camps and preformed at the level the Colts were hoping for, but Gore and Johnson were expected to look sharp. Carter, however, did not have the résumé and track record that Gore and Johnson have. Carter had several impressive moments that highlighted his length and ability to make difficult receptions.

Pierre Wilson (@pwee31):

Phillip Dorsett has been great, but I think Frank Gore and Andre Johnson made the biggest splash. Why? Because each proved they still have plenty left in the tank. Sure it’s just training camp, but both players looked rejuvenated and ready to play.

Dave McKee (@thedavemckee):

Phillip Dorsett just edged Duron Carter as the player who made the biggest splash in Colts Camp. We have already learned that Dorsett is faster than advertised. His teammate Pro Bowl safety Mike Adams believes “he’s ready he’s arrived“. Dorsett is not the usual rookie. Now he is showing the world exactly why the Colts selected him at #29.

Not only is he fast, but he displays the veteran ability of controlling his tells. Not looking back for the ball and keeping the hands down until the last second prevent tipping off the DB to where the ball’s location is in the air. Dorsett is only in his second week of the NFL and is already displaying veteran traits. All of this listed doesn’t even touch on his potential as a return specialist.

Not only did he make the biggest splash in camp but he did it while he’s been studying every receiver position in the playbook. If you’ve seen him play and you can see how he may truly become a superstar.
