Indiana Pacers, St. Vincent Announce Facility Partnership

The Indiana Pacers today announced a corporate facility partnership with St. Vincent Sports Performance to provide “local residents and workers improved access to high-quality care,” per a Pacers.com report.

The improved facilities will give access to better care for area residents and will be placed directly to the east of Bankers Life Fieldhouse on Delaware Street.

Hoosiers can seek improved cardiovascular care at the St. Vincent Heart Center, one of many perks to the big money deal in place between Indiana’s team and St. V. Also as part of the move, some of the Pacers offices will be moved to the new building in an effort to make the most out of Bankers Life Fieldhouse in terms of facility usage.

St. Vincent Sports Performance has had a long standing relationship with the Pacers, but the deal further solidifies the connection between the two, with the St. Vincent logo being added to the Pacers practice jerseys as part of the deal.

Again, per the Pacers.com report, this facility is one of twenty added by NBA teams since 1999, with the majority of those franchises partnering with local corporations – just like Indiana.

Almost as important, the deal will be privately financed by Pacers Sports & Entertainment as St. Vincent claims private naming rights.

New Indiana Pacers Myles Turner and Joseph Young are on the scene with Larry Bird and St. Vincent employees to announce the new deal, which is moments away from going live on the link above.

Most important for the players, though, are the two practice courts and modern training & medical facilities expected to help the Pacers improve throughout the season.
