Expectations for the 2015-16 season for Glenn Robinson III

Trust me when I say this, if you are unfamiliar with Glenn Robinson III from his playing days at Michigan, the 2014 draft, or from his short tenure with the Timberwolves and 76ers, you will definitely remember his name by season’s end. You can also see last month’s article following his signing

Consider this, since high school, Glenn Robinson has shown improvement in his game every year. He is trending up. As his former Lake Central High School coach, Dave Milausnic said, “He has more gears inside of him which is really scary because his ceiling is so high.”

I expect Glenn Robinson to make an impact this season. He will shine as a perimeter defender and wreak havoc in transition, where he excels most. I asked him if he feels he can come in immediately and make an impact on the roster and if so, what role does he see himself as:

"“I believe I can make a big impact on defense. I feel that the style of play in the NBA, getting up the court in transition is a better fit for my game.” He continued, “Plus in the NBA you get a lot more open looks than you do in college. You gotta make the most of those open looks and make the best of your opportunities.” “I guess you could say I am a 3 & D guy. You have to start somewhere until you get on a higher level and work on everything that you can. I want to learn everything I can from Paul and become the superstar that he is, because for me, I believe the sky is the limit.”"
