Larry Bird has excited the Pacers fan base excited after completing a roster overhaul that has injected the franchise with several talented young players. At 21, Glenn Robinson III, is part of the new blood seeking an opportunity to shine.
The revamping has been thorough in bodies and philosophy. Gone are the days of watching a nearly stagnant offense be propped up by a physical defense. This roster is geared for speed on both ends of the court. If they have given up anything defensively, it will be more than compensated for on the offensively.
With so much activity its easy to understand the excitement of the players and fan base alike. Considering the amount of activity since free agency began it is easy to see where some acquisitions could get lost in the shuffle when it comes to media attention.
