Quick-fire Q & A Session with Glenn Robinson III
Q: Labeled as a workaholic by both, your former high school coach and your mother, what do you do to unwind when you’re not honing your craft?
A: “Like a lot of the guys I play video games. Paul and I like to do a lot of similar things; messing around, and going to the gym and always honing my craft because there still some work that can be done to improve.”
Q: What is the one memory that stands out most from your days at Michigan?
A: Everyone will say the national championship game. But for me it was that whole final four experience. For me, it was special because there were five of us [freshmen] and three of us knew each other from before college, Caris {Levert} and Nik [Stauskus] and I. That whole experience as close of a group as we were was very special.”
Q: What have you been working on in the offseason to get ready for the season?
A: “I’ve mostly been working on being more consistent,” said Robinson. “At some point I am going to have to come in and give Paul break, so I have to make sure that I’m working on my ball handling, defense and shooting.”
Q: I have seen Paul’s reaction, what was your reaction to ESPN predicting that the Pacers finish 9th in the Eastern Conference:
A: “I was shocked when I seen that. I just couldn’t believe it. I believe we are a playoff team and we will just have to go out there and prove that we are that good.”
Q: I know you said you wanted to get one of the Hickory Pacers jerseys have you gotten yours yet?
A: “Not yet, but I ordered them the other day.”
