Pacers Announce Preseason Schedule
As Indiana Pacers fans eagerly await the start of a new season, the team has only increased the anticipation by releasing the team’s preseason schedule, which includes three stops in Indianapolis, one in Ft. Wayne, and three road games.

The Pacers will open their preseason in just over one month by hosting the New Orleans Pelicans at Bankers Life Fieldhouse on Saturday, Oct. 3 at 7:00pm.
Three days later, the Pacers will hit the road for the first time during a road trip to Detroit on Tuesday, Oct. 6 at 7:30pm.
Following the return from Detroit, Paul George and the Pacers are at home for two straight – welcoming Victor Oladipo back to the state against the Magic at Bankers Life on Friday, Oct. 9 at 7:00pm, and then Detroit comes to town in a return game on Tuesday, Oct. 13 at 7:00pm.

After two home games, the Pacers again hit the road, first in Cleveland against the Eastern Conference Champions on Thursday, Oct. 15, and then in Chicago at the United Center on Tuesday, Oct. 20 at 8:00pm ET.
The team ends their run in Fort Wayne against the Charlotte Hornets on Thursday, Oct. 22 at 7:00pm.
Two weeks ago, the Pacers received their scheduling news from the NBA and it was announced that the team would open the season on October 28 in Toronto against the Raptors before returning home the next night for the home opener against the Memphis Grizzlies.
Yes, it’s just preseason, and yes, none of it matters – but it’s basketball, and in this state that means more. The Pacers have been tinkering with their roster and with the major departures of Roy Hibbert and David West it’s an opportunity for fans to see the new style that both Larry Bird and Coach Frank Vogel are attempting to arrive at.
