The Indianapolis Colts regular season schedule is favorable in 2015. Will they surpass 11 wins this season? Can they lock up home-field advantage for the playoffs?
The Indianapolis Colts are favorites to contend for Super Bowl 50 but they must first get through the regular season. There are some very tough opponents on the schedule, but only one of those matchups is on the road, when they travel to Pittsburgh in October.
For the Colts, the first five games will be against young or mediocre quarterbacks. This allows the Colts to further improve their defensive and offensive line continuity before heading into the teeth of their schedule.

With the additions of Frank Gore and Andre Johnson to the offense, there are enough weapons at Andrew Luck‘s disposal to consider them an offensive juggernaut. If the offensive line can open holes for Gore and protect Luck, then the sky is the limit for this offense.
The defensive line is young and more athletic than last season. It is a concern that only Kendall Langford has any regular season experience. Rookies David Parry and Henry Anderson – both were teammates at Stanford – have tremendous upside with their athleticism and chemistry together. If they can generate an interior pass rush and disrupt the running game the Colts will have quickly turned a weakness into a strength.

With the impending return of Robert Mathis – who may see snaps as early as week 1 – the defense has the potential devastate their opponents with their pass rush, especially if they have the lead. The key will be stopping the run long enough to allow Luck to build up the lead. Once that happens watch out, because they will pin back their ears and get after the quarterback.
Head coach Chuck Pagano is apparently on a hot seat despite a 33-15 record in three seasons. This is the most talented roster he has had at his disposal. As a player’s coach Pagano will need a great season to make sure the contract extension he deserves.
So just how many games can the Colts win this season? This season is decided one game at a time, so lets break it down game-by-game.
