Top Ten no more, the Indianapolis Colts hosted and lost to the New York Jets 20-7 on MNF. People from all parts of the organization are both accepting and deflecting blame, but a 0-2 start does not bode well for their top ten ranking as they continue to fall.
The New England Patriots come out on top in the first edition of the IoI NFL Top Ten, though it was close. After handling the Pittsburgh Steelers on opening night, Tom Brady threw for 466 yards, 113 of which went to Gronk, and 3 TDs.
Though the Jaguars gained *slight* momentum with a 23-20 win over Miami, I doubt there is much they can do when they travel to Foxborough next Sunday.
It’s pretty safe to say that Aaron Rodgers doesn’t disappoint, even with the absence of one of his main targets Jordy Nelson. The Packers didn’t have a huge problem with the Chicago Bears in week one, but hosting the Seattle Seahawks would be an entirely different challenge.
In the rematch of last year’s NFC Championship game at Lambeau, Rodgers found a way through the Seahawks defense without Kam Chancellor and got help on the other side of the ball to edge out their conferences foes in a 27-17 win.
Green Bay hosts the Kansas City Chiefs on Monday Night Football next week.
