I have to admit, it’s always a strange trip when the Bengals are this high even two games in. However, full credit goes to Andy Dalton for his display last weekend.

Cincy ran away from Oakland after a solid first outing and a 33-13 win and were back in the confines of their own home against San Diego on Sunday. Phillip Rivers broke the San Diego TD pass record, but the day was Dalton’s as he has still yet to commit a turnover, instead connecting with A.J. GreenMarvin Jones, and Tyler Eifert for touchdowns in their 24-19 victory.

The true test begins next week, though, a road trip to take on the Baltimore Ravens.

Kansas City Chiefs. 6. team. 124. . (1-1). Previous:

It was an impressive opening outing for Alex Smith and the Chiefs in their road win over the Houston Texans, but their defense should have punished Peyton Manning far more often than they did and Smith didn’t do much to help on the other side of the ball as they fell to .500 though only two games in.

The turnovers were no question an issue, but if Smith can clean it up and win the turnover battle, they stay a threat. Unfortunately for Kansas City, though, their road only gets tougher – an away game at Lambeau against Green Bay next Monday night.
