Pacers Uniform Conceptualized as Soccer Jersey

It’s not often that the Indiana Pacers get new uniforms… However, designer Emilio Sansolini has taken to conceptualizing kits for every NBA team.

Paul George has said it before (though he doesn’t have a lot of reasons to say it again after the unveiling of the “Hickory” Pacers uniforms), he loves new uniforms.

He probably won’t get to enjoy something like this for some time, but designer Emilio Sansolini has introduced a uniform for every team in the league, including the Pacers. Take a look:

Designed by Emilio Sansolini.

It’s a pretty interesting design, to be honest.

Part of me loves it – I mean, it’s a Pacers t-shirt jersey with a collar, kind of a fresh look. In addition, it somewhat has the pinstripe effect going. It would be awesome if the jersey was white and had the blue, thin pinstripes like their original pinstripe unis, but I can’t complain about that. The sole thing that bothers me here is the Walmart sponsor. I would rather have something like a local company (Lilly, maybe?) sticking out on the front of the kit and not Walmart.

However, all in all, it’s a pretty good look. It would be very interesting to see if the NBA picked up on a similar design for the new player t-shirt uniforms released. To check out the full collection from Emilio Sansolini, go here.

As for the Indiana Pacers, they are back in action on Tuesday evening against the Detroit Pistons. Tipoff is scheduled for 7 pm ET.
