In the end, yes the Colts are facing a severely uphill battle in the contest. The Patriots are red hot and playing at a record-breaking level. The odds are stacked against them and it is time for them to step up and play with a collective chip on their shoulders. Indianapolis can upset the Patriots and the chances are even better with a raucous crowd at home. The atmosphere in Lucas Oil Stadium is definitely conducive to the upset, but it is going to take a mistake-free offense and near-perfect defense to pull it off.

Either way this game will be decided by #12, for the Colts sake, let’s hope that jersey has a Horseshoe on the sleeve. If not, the writing on the wall for the current Colts coaching staff could become a bright neon sign. This game is beyond pivotal. This is THE game that the Colts need to win in order to save their season and compete for the AFC title. With the next four opponents combining for an 18-5 record. The Colts must make a statement tonight.

Sure it may be unlikely and admittedly it’s a one-in-a-million chance but even bigger upsets have occurred before and the Colts are the type of underdogs that can have a vicious bite when overlooked. Will they sink their teeth into the Patriots? Or will they tuck tail and run? Stay tuned.
