Pacers slash Wizards behind 3J and Paul George

Records were set last night in Washington. The Indiana Pacers now boast the best 3pt% when making over 19 threes, with C.J. Miles and Paul George the stars.

Okay. Last night was insane. Paul George hit the 40-point mark, C.J. Miles and George combined to hit 15 (!) of 17 attempts from beyond the arc, and the Pacers shot 55% from the floor while putting up 123 points.

As a longtime Pacers fan, it’s a strange sight to see so many attempts from distance. So. Much. Green on the shot chart.

Washington didn’t have a great night overall, but Bradley Beal and Gary Neal were both able to hit for 20+ points to keep things interesting through the first half.

Indiana took a 62-61 lead into half but from that point on it was all Pacers. George and Miles caught fire and stayed hot, and the return of George Hill proved a welcomed one as the Blue & Gold ran the floor.

They seem pretty thrilled.

Chicago comes to town on Friday the 27th as the Pacers break continues, but then hit the road for the first true trip of the year, starting out west with the Los Angeles Lakers on Sunday the 29th.
