And now it is time for the honorable mention list. These guys are phenomenal players and it was definitely tough to pick who belongs on the first team and honorable mention.

Rex Pflueger, Notre Dame

More of a “glue guy”, Pflueger will team up with Temple Gibbs this year to kick start the young Fighting Irish team.

Jordan Barnes, Indiana State

This is the player who nearly took Gibbs’ spot on the first team. He beats out Gibbs statistically, but Barnes play in the Missouri Valley Conference, which is tough to compete with the ACC –  although, Barnes did earn All-League honors a year ago.

Kamar Baldwin, Butler

The lone Butler Bulldog on the list, Kamar Baldwin averaged 15.7 PPG last season while leading his squad as a sophomore.

Tayler Persons, Ball State

Persons started every single game last year while averaging 15 points per game. Persons’ endurance and performance are good enough to place him among the honorable mentions

John Konchar, Fort Wayne

Konchar is probably most well-known from his 16 point effort to complete a magnificent upset over Indiana. He will also be chasing First Team All-Summit League honors for the FOURTH time in his collegiate career. That is First Team All-Summit League every year he has been in college.
