Week 14: @ Houston Texans

Hoo boy. Here comes the game the Colts have circled on their schedule. The Texans, at this point, are 7-3 riding a seven game win streak since starting 0-3. One could argue they are the hottest team in football, although I think it is the Colts. Houston has a very good chance to be 9-3 by the time this game occurs. Or they could be 7-5, and it will be a HUGE game for the division lead. But I cannot tell at this point.

The Houston defense looks good. Like really good. With J.J. Watt and Jadeveon Clowney hitting their strides, and the play of safety Tyrann Mathieu and rookie defensive back Justin Reid, the Texans have an elite defense. This will be a fun match up to watch as Andrew Luck and the Colts’ high-powered offense takes on this solid defensive unit. On the other side of the ball, Deshaun Watson is again balling out for Houston. He and DeAndre Hopkins have built a strong rapport together and are making for one of the best duos in the league.

The Colts will need to pitch a perfect game to win this game in Houston. Will it happen? Ehh, I do not think so – but it will be close.

Texans 34, Colts 31. (7-6)
