Caitlin Clark debuts new sneakers that will warm Fever fans' hearts

If you're wondering what propelled Caitlin Clark to remarkable new heights against the New York Liberty, the answer has been revealed. Clark received an incredible boost during her return to the lineup from an unlikely but inevitably inspiring source: Her dog, Bella.
Donning sneakers in tribute to Bella, Clark turned in one of the best halves and all-around games of her WNBA career.
Clark returned to action with the Indiana Fever in a monumental June 14 encounter with the unstoppable Liberty. New York had dominated just about every team they encountered, with the Fever coming closer than anyone to taking them down. Thankfully, Bella offered an unexpected boost in the rematch.
Prior to tipoff, the Fever posted about Clark's new Nike Kobe 6 Protro PE sneaker titled, "The Bellas." The shoe is a tribute to her dog, Bella.

For all Fever fans and dog lovers, this is the ultimate sneaker—never mind the fact that it's produced on the Kobe Bryant line of shoes.
Caitlin Clark debuts sneaker tribute to her dog Bella
Perhaps inspired by Bella and the new signature sneaker, Clark was in generational form against the Liberty. She scored 25 points in the first half alone, burying threes from every angle and electrifying the crowd in a manner that garnered Stephen Curry comparisons.
In the end, Clark finished with 32 points, nine assists, eight rebounds, two blocks, and a steal on 11-of-20 shooting from the field and a 7-of-14 mark from beyond the arc.
More importantly, Indiana handed New York its first loss of the 2025 WNBA season. Clark's 32-point eruption was complemented by a 22-point outing by Kelsey Mitchell, and excellent showings from Aliyah Boston and Sydney Colson.
With five players in double figures, including the 14 points that Lexie Hull contributed, the Fever pulled out a shocking 102-88 win over the previously undefeated Liberty.
Perhaps the Bella-themed sneakers should become a staple in Clark's shoe rotation if this is the result they help garner. This was one of the best performances by any player in 2025, let alone by the Fever star during her two-year WNBA career.
More importantly, it was a powerful statement that helped propel Indiana to 5-5, hand New York its first loss, and prove that Clark's presence can be a source of championship-caliber play.
